The company commissioned the facility in July with an investment of around ₹150 crore, with the plant designed to upgrade lower-grade ore into higher-quality feedstock. Beneficiation is strategically important because it allows mining and metals companies to improve the quality of raw materials before they enter downstream production, potentially improving resource efficiency and operating economics. For Odisha, which has one of India’s largest mineral-based industrial ecosystems, investments in beneficiation and processing can help strengthen the entire value chain from mineral extraction to finished products.
