GREENBASE COMMITS ₹3,500 CRORE TO INDUSTRIAL, WAREHOUSING AND LOGISTICS INFRASTRUCTURE

0

Hiranandani Group-backed Greenbase Industrial and Logistics is planning to invest ₹3,500 crore over five years to develop approximately 9 million square feet of industrial, warehousing and logistics infrastructure across India. Around 5 million square feet will be developed in Tamil Nadu through a ₹2,000 crore investment, with the remaining ₹1,500 crore earmarked for a 4-million-square-foot pipeline across South and West India. The expansion comes as India’s manufacturing growth and e-commerce activity increase demand for Grade-A industrial and warehousing space. Greenbase has acquired 215 acres across Chennai and has already begun construction. The company is positioning its parks around major manufacturing corridors where automotive, electronics, engineering and other industries require modern logistics infrastructure. The investment reflects a broader shift in India’s industrial real-estate market from conventional warehouses toward integrated industrial destinations capable of supporting manufacturing, distribution and ancillary businesses.
