MONEYVIEW OPENS ₹1,092 CRORE IPO AS DIGITAL FINANCE BUSINESS HEADS TO PUBLIC MARKET
Digital financial-services platform Moneyview opened its ₹1,092 crore initial public offering on September 24, bringing another technology-driven financial company to India’s primary market. The issue has a price band of ₹32 to ₹34 per share and combines a fresh issue of approximately ₹750 crore with an offer for sale of around ₹341.68 crore. Moneyview had already raised ₹327.5 crore from anchor investors before the public issue opened. The company intends to use part of the fresh capital to support loan disbursals under default-loss-guarantee arrangements and another portion to strengthen the capital base of its subsidiary Whizdm Finance. Moneyview operates as a digital financial-services platform connecting consumers with banks, NBFCs and other financial institutions for products including personal loans, insurance, credit cards and digital gold. The company reported strong growth in the June 2026 quarter, with consolidated revenue rising more than 50% year-on-year and profit increasing substantially from the comparable period. The IPO provides investors with an opportunity to participate in the expansion of India’s digital-credit and financial-services ecosystem. At the same time, the business operates in a closely regulated sector where lending quality, customer acquisition costs, credit losses and regulatory requirements remain important factors. The public issue therefore represents both the maturation of India’s fintech sector and a test of whether rapidly expanding digital-finance platforms can build sustainable profitability at scale.
